1999: Company founded as a distributor for various UK and European trailer marquees, selling in GB and Ireland.
2000: Production starts on first bmi Steel structure ejector trailers
2001: Moved to larger premises.
2004: Production of ejectors moves to two per week establishing BMI as the UK leading ejector trailer manufacture
2005: Initial design concept of the FastFloor ejector trailer
2006: Agreed a deal with Labrie Environmental Equipment of Canada to market and manufacture the TopSelect range of Kerbside Collection vehicles for recycling.
2007: Acquired new site for new factory build.
2008: Achieve environmental accreditation BS8555 working in partnership with STEM
2008: Construction starts on new factory facility in July
2009: Invest in 3D solid works engineering package giving BMI an design advantage over its competitors.
2009: Opened new factory facility Feb, with the start of the Alloy body Walking Floor trailer production. ICOSH award for development of sound proofing system for safer operator conditions while loading kerbside collection vehicles. Labrie TopSelect Maximizer introduced into GB kerbside recycling market.
2010:
2011: Agreed distribution deal with Edbro for Hooks & Skips product range for Ireland.
2011: Re-launch of FastFloor Ejector trailer with full Aluminum body structure.
2012: Completed construction of new Blaster Facility at Granville Head Office, as part of the continued drive towards improved production efficiency and product quality development at the site.
2012: Awarded the CFP Certificate in a bid to decrease our Carbon Footprint, the first company in our industry to make this step.
