Encouraged by the success of our used vehicle market enquiry levels, the bmi group has recently begun providing a “Re-Made” service, whereby customers can acquire pre-owned bmi and other branded vehicles, which are then completely refurbished and customised in their company colours. All re-made bmi vehicles are fully serviced and brought back to market in full working order with the manufacturer offering a 3 month warranty and service support anywhere in the UK or Ireland. The bmi group are happy to announce that with the installation of our new blaster unit at our Granville Head Office, we are now able to offer commercial shotblasting and respraying services.  Trailers, plant and machinery and quarry plant are all serviceable and can all benefit from a full blast and repaint to prolong their usable life. Following a month long assessment period, the bmi group has been awarded a CFP certificate for monitoring the company carbon footprint. Reducing our carbon output is one of the many steps the company is taking in its bid to become more eco-friendly and plans to monitor emissions over the coming months with a view of implementing new work procedures and seeking alternative fuels.  It is hoped that in addition to improving our CO2 efficiency, these procedural changes will also lead to lower costs at a time when cost control is very much in focus. We have set ourselves a target of a 10% decrease per year over the next 10 years, by seeking out alternative fuels, implementing new work procedures and encouraging staff to monitor and decrease their own carbon footprint.
