Stores Personnel

bmi are on the lookout for a Stores Personnel to join our busy stores team at our Granville Head Office.

Duties include:

  • Receiving good in and processing returns using our in-house computer software.
  • Deliver materials to the point of use, in line with production requirements.
  • Liasing with purchasing department and suppliers to organise deliveries to suit production schedule.
  • Moving new and used vehicle throughout the factory and in and out of finishing bays.
  • Unloading deliveries and ensuring that goods are stored in correct locations.
  • Working closely with purchasing and production to ensure there are no parts shortages.
  • Ensure workshop and surrounding stores are kept clean and tidy Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to within the stores area.

Skills Required

Essential Criteria:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • PC literate.
  • Must be confident operating a shunter, and have previous experience of doing so.
  • Excellent time keeping skills.
  • Ability to work on their own and be self motivated, as well as work well in a team.
  • Highly organised, excellent at multi-tasking, prioritisation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good English communication skill, both written and spoken.
  • Good Presentation and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Forklift Licence would be advantageous but not essential.
